WORLD WIDE IMPACT

In 2020, I found myself on an unplanned sabbatical as a consequence of the global pandemic. I approached my ex-colleague (Rachel Caine), who left BSJ at the same time as me, and with whom I had co-created a range of resources, and together we started The Understudy: a resource website for Drama & Theatre teachers working with international curricula. This has been wonderfully successful and well received by the international drama teaching community, and led to me offering one-to-one consultations to help people plan new courses and cope with challenges created by the pandemic. I uploaded a video about the Research Presentation (which I examine for IB) to Youtube last year, and this has now had over 6000 views. I have also been approached by ISTA (International Schools Theatre Association) to lead two of  their summer Professional Development workshops for IBDP Theatre Teachers.
